Rocket Boom Pivot for the TerraGator® AirMax
Stop broken shafts and boom shake. The Rocket Boom Pivot replaces the factory pivot with a heavy-duty knuckle that has no welded shaft to snap and a hardened pin bushing that cuts boom shake. Not one Rocket Boom Pivot has broken.
- No welded shaft to break: the heavy-duty knuckle design does away with the weld where factory shafts break.
- Less boom shake: a hardened pin bushing resists the pin-hole wear that lets the boom shake.
- Strong where it counts: chromoly steel shafts and receiver for strength and toughness.

Why factory pivots fail
The AirMax is built for high production and accurate application, so a pivot failure costs you time and money. Factory pivots fail in two common ways:
- The shaft breaks at the weld.
- The pin hole wears out, and the boom starts to shake.
How the Rocket Boom Pivot fixes it
Our heavy-duty knuckle removes the weld that causes shaft breakage. The shafts and receiver are chromoly steel for strength and toughness. A hardened pin bushing stands up to the wear that loosens the factory pivot and shakes the boom.
Built because operators asked for it
Two custom fertilizer operators who run more than 20 TerraGators between them asked us for a boom pivot that wouldn't break. We built it in our plant in Airway Heights, Washington.
